It's not about building a brand.
It's about honestly and stubbornly creating a new reality.
One where soothing qualities are considered the most heroic. Where we upheave the incredible things around us rather than obstruct and deteriorate them. And one where living souls aren't discarded because they're no longer convenient.
If you pause among the cacophony of people rushing to become things they're not, and you listen very closely...you can still hear the quiet ones, whispering their rejections.
Institutionalization - whether corporate, academic, or athletic, competent or not, in all forms can be reduced down to a glamourized parade of similarly-blinded people, drooling at the opportunity to file down the edges of anything that doesn't fit their mould. Providing encouragement in the form of scraps, and only if you color within their lines.
This is what needs to be escaped, and it'll be done with a sanctuary.
Barely Bloomed isn’t about saving the world. It’s about stepping out of the one that never felt quite right. It’s for the late bloomers who never arrived on time, and maybe never will. It's for the ones still finding themselves, while grasping onto whatever's left of the original.
Yes, 10% of profits will go to Humane Societies.
The rest is to fund a sanctuary in the Northwestern United States. There's a target property, which will remain undisclosed. It's not gonna be a spectacle, not a tourist stop, just a safe, quiet place for the ones no one chose.
Call, text, email, or DM for proof or to chat about it. You will get what you're looking for, pinky promise.
Just remember, this has nothing to do with donating to an idea, or selling you a logo. You'll receive something genuine and from the heart in return. I want clothing to be something you cherish, because it represents who you’ve been and what's guiding your direction. Clothing that doesn’t flinch at your bruises.
Clothing has to be something that fits — not just your body, but the season of life you’re in. Something that understands the in-between. Something that honors where you are, and where you’re going. This isn’t for everyone. It’s not meant to be.
It’s for the ones who’ve outgrown wearing masks and playing pretend. The ones tired of performing. The ones still grasping for something real.
We’re barely bloomed. But we are still growing... maybe one day we’ll reach for the sun.
